DHM 3533 Textile Surface Design Prerequisites: DHM 1003 and DHM 2573 and DHM 1993 or DHM 2423, all with minimum grade of "C". Description: Traditional and contemporary dyeing, printing, stitching, and other textile surface manipulation techniques are practiced in a portfolio of individual projects. Exercises in color theory and production inform textile design work. Aesthetic, methodological, and environmental tradeoffs are considered in relation to designing textile surfaces.
