Trigonometry from the perspective of the unit circle and right triangles, behavior of trigonometric functions, and basic identities. Functions arising in calculus and the notion of an inverse function, especially in the context of trigonometric, logarithmic, and exponential functions. Rates of change and the limiting process. Combined credit toward a degree for MATH 1513, MATH 1613, and MATH 1813 limited to six hours. May not be used for degree credit with MATH 1715.
